The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

In 1968 I was married, moved to Virginia, and became an elementary teacher. In 1971 we returned to Pittsburgh, I taught and we had two children, Sara and Joshua. Following a divorce I went to Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and became a Presbyterian minister/chaplain. I am married to Jared, who is a teacher of Hebrew Bible and an Episcopal priest. We have a blended family of six children and three grandchildren. My focus in life and ministry is celebrating diversity and working for justice and hospitality. In the warmer days I enjoy gardening, tennis, hiking and kayaking. I have recently started painting and becoming the artist I always wanted to be. I imagine Penn State alumni volunteering themselves to create inspiring relationships in our communities!
